Uniform

All children at Whitchurch are expected to wear school uniform.  This does not have to be branded with the school logo, although this option is available.  Uniform can be purchased through the school parent app and the WSA hold regular sales of good quality second hand items.  Unbranded items can be found at local supermarkets.

Research consistently shows that a clear and well-understood uniform policy helps pupils feel a sense of belonging, reduces unnecessary distractions, and supports positive behaviour and learning. When expectations are clear and shared between home and school, pupils are able to focus on learning and take pride in being part of their school.

High expectations sit at the heart of our work, and wearing uniform correctly helps to reinforce routines, pride and readiness to learn. In order to support this, we are sharing a clearer and more detailed version of our existing uniform policy. This is intended to clarify expectations and ensure consistency, rather than represent a change in our values or approach.
