In Year 6 the children have the opportunity to become House Captains. We encourage all the children in year 6 to present to their house members as to why they should be chosen as a House Captain at the beginning of the year. They prepare a speech and present to the other children in their house. The younger children then vote for two house captains per house.

We have 6 houses currently:-

Red/Yellow/Blue/Orange/Purple and Green house.

The House Captains have many responsibilities throughout the year including leading a weekly celebration assembly, collecting house points and supporting sports day. 

Every term we also have a "House Morning" where the children work together in their houses carrying out a range of activities or projects led by the House Captains. These include taking part in cooking, Whitchurch woodland Project, Artport and various charity events . These mornings are very popular with the children and build skills in leadership and collaboration.
