Ellie made a white chocolate cheesecake for her family which was and looks delicious. She also completed her tree bar chart and really enjoyed finding the trees as well as making a bird box.

Max has been busy everyday with school work.

James, Emily  and Rose have been busy doing the PE challenge -James has completed 12,578 steps passing Ben Nevis!

Jamie has created a dichotomous key using a shark book he was given for Christmas.

Emily  planted peas, broad beans and carrots with her mum yesterday.

Scarlett has been cooking, walking her dog Winnie daily and trying to train her in recall. She is busy completing tasks set on the memo.

Lauren has been baking a lot, learning about healthy smoothies and vitamins. She has also been making bug hotels, growing veg and stroking a pony who lives nearby .

25.9.19 As part of our Science learning РHumans and other animals РMrs Rankin (Year 4 parent) who works in the Cardiac department at Derriford Hospital  spent the morning with us explaining how the heart works, features of the heart and how to stay healthy.

Our Year 6 Quad Kids and Super 6 Golf team had a great day completing against other finalist at Exeter Arena

Our Quad Kids team were busy throughout the day however our Golf team managed to try a number of taster activities

Congratulations to our Year 6 who all participated in the  West Devon Quad Kids event on  the Tavistock College  Track.

Team A won the whole competition with Lucas coming 1st overall and Elliot 3rd


Ellie Jackson visited us and read her story about a turtle eating plastic waste which was left in the ocean. She donated 3 of her books which were funded buy the Scrap Store in Tavistock РThank you

Mr Chamberlain from Tavistock College visited us with his Japanese student who are on an exchange visit with the school.

Author visit Рa local author from Looe worked with year 6 today and shared her story Рunfortunately she left it on a cliffhanger, but we are lucky to have her story book in school.

Linked to our Geography our Whitchurch Flag in Deception Island which is an active Volcano in the South Shetland off the coast of Antarctica. Its unique landscape comprises barren volcanic slopes, steaming beaches and ash- layered glaciers .
